Accidental Findings

Every year, one half of W&W would go back to Malaysia,
specifically Taiping (if you’ve never heard of it I don’t blame you)
to make the yearly pilgramage back to see the extended family.

There’s really nothing much to do, but now and then you chance
upon old treasures in an old town, forgotten and sometimes,
you find accidental art.

There’s something very special about taking a picture of how someone would organise their life.
This I would say is significant, filled with memories of more than 25 years.

This scale is apparently at least 80 years old, and it still works like it was brand new.
It runs on a basic pulley / lever system and love the sleek and thin steel.

Some things were just different back then.
